Saudi Arabia hosts protection conference from mass destruction

The first Gulf conference for protection from weapons of mass destruction for medical services for the Saudi armed forces will be held in the Saudi city, Dhahran on October 28 in association with the general trusteeship of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Specialized scientists in the Gulf Cooperation Council member states are to participate in the conference, as well as international experts, regional and international organizations concerned with weapons of mass destruction and means of protection, the World Health Organization and the International Committee of the Red Cross.

They are to discuss special subjects concerning getting rid of weapons of mass destruction and means of dealing with them, as well as the role of hospitals in treating injuries resulting from them during the three-day conference.
