Egypt criticises Barak's nos
Egypt-Regional, Politics, 9/24/1999
Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa has asserted the importance of Israel's commitment to a complete withdrawal from the occupied Golan Heights to the June 4, 1967 border line, according to the agreement reached with the former Israeli government under Yitzhak Rabin.
In statements he made on Thursday, Moussa stressed his country's opposition to Rabin's "nos," noting that these nos express "a negative and unacceptable stand."
Moussa described his talks with US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright in Washington as positive and centered on the need of pushing the Middle East peace process forward on the Syrian, Lebanese and Palestinian tracks.
