Syria, Lebanon sign protocol on grid maintenance

A contract on the operation, maintenance and investment of the electricity grid for the Lebanese village of al-Tafil was signed on Wednesday at the headquarters of the Syrian-Lebanese higher council in Damascus.
The signing of the agreement falls within the framework of the continued cooperation between the ministries of electricity in Syria and Lebanon.
Later in the day, the persons who attended the signing ceremony of the contract headed for the Lebanese village of al-Tafil, located on the Syrian borders.
The inhabitants of the Lebanese village held ceremonies and festivities on this occasion.
