Egypt - Saudi relations are strong, says Egyptian ambassador

Egypt's ambassador in Saudi Arabia, Helmi Badeir, referred to the depth of Egyptian - Saudi relations, pointing to the fraternal relations between President Mubarak and King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz, which led to coordinating the stances and the joint work which serves the Arab causes and Muslims in all international circles.
Badeir said, "The Saudi march during the last 100 years is based on generous and original principles established by King Abdul Aziz al-Saoud." He also hailed the great developments witnessed by Saudi Arabia in different fields, especially in the areas of economics and politics.
He added, "The Saudi - Egyptian relations are a good example for relations among the Arab countries clarifying that Saudi Arabia occupies the first position in the Arab investments in Egypt."
