Kuwaiti minister of petroleum makes European tour
Kuwait, Business, 9/23/1999

Kuwaiti Minister of Petroleum Sheikh Saud Naser al-Sabah is making a tour that includes France, Britain and Italy after his participation in the meetings of OPEC (the Organization of Petroleum-Exporting Countires) in Vienna.

His talks during the tour will follow up on the procedures taken by Rome and London to move the main office of the Kuwaiti Petroleum Corporation from London to Kuwait and the special procedures for developing the activities of the "gas stations" affiliated to the corporation across Europe.

The Kuwaiti government owns the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation abroad, which is one of the main companies owned by Kuwait abroad. Kuwait follows up on ways to enhance its presence as well as to find new markets for Kuwaiti petroleum outlets in Europe and the world.
