Arab media prepares recommendation for ministers on boycott of Disney

The Arab media did not take a decision to boycott the US Walt Disney Company, as Egypt, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia refused to take this decision while Palestine, Iraq, Yemen, and Sudan supported it.

The manager of the Kuwaiti informative center in Cairo, councilor Sakr Al Baigan said that the boycott decision belongs to the Arab foreign ministers, but the informative committee is a technical one which raises only recommendations to the Arab foreign ministers to discuss in their meeting tomorrow in New York.

The committee recommended convening an urgent meeting of Arab ministers of information if Disney refuses the demands on which the Arab foreign ministers decide.

In addition, Baigan said the company has abandoned its previous slogan regarding Jerusalem as the Israeli capital, but it said that the subject will be exhibited only in the Israeli wing, considering as belonging to the Israeli wing.
