Israel continues aggressions against south Lebanon

Two houses and one car were badly damaged in south Lebanon by the Israeli shelling of Kafer Tabnet town on Wednesday.

Earlier in the day, the Israeli bombardment hit the hills of al-Tuffah district, especially Sujoud woods, Aqmata farm, al-Zahrani river, Arnoun and al-Hamra farm. The towns of al-Mansouri, Hinea and Majdal Zoun in the western Bekaa were also shelled by the Israeli forces.

On Wednesday morning the Israeli forces bombarded al-Hajir valley in the area adjacent to the occupied strip of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli forces combed the surroundings of their old position in the occupied town of al-Qintara.

Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes carried out provocative and mock raids over the central sector of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli artillery shelled the eastern quarter of Kafer Tabnit town and the suburbs of Westen Zouter town.

On Tuesday night, the Lebanese resistance attacked military movements of the pro-Israeli South Lebanon Army militia inside two Israeli and pro-Israeli positions in Ali al-Taher and al-Burj inside the occupied part of south Lebanon. In a statement, the resistance said indirect hits were inflicted on the occupation movements.
