Islamists meet in Amman

An Islamist official said in Amman on Wednesday that a joint meeting of the leadership of the Muslim Brothers group in Jordan and the Islamic Work Front (the political party of the group), was held immediately after they returned from Amman's airport, after they had received Hamas leaders who were arrested.

The Islamists official added that the meeting dealt with releasing a statement which expresses regret and disappointment over the decision taken by the Jordanian government to expel Mousa Abu Marzouk and arrest both Khaled Mashaal and Ibrahim Ghoushe, all Hamas leaders, as well as to submit an urgent notification through an enlarged defense commission to release the detainees and then continue dialogue with the government in order to find an outlet for the crisis.
