Sudanese Ministry of Interior urges the citizens to watch for suspicious acts

The Sudanese Ministry of Interior urged citizens to provide information about anyone who tries to commit action against the petroleum pipelines.

The ministry said it will redouble efforts to protect in Sudanese petroleum production sites and the pipeline to the Red Sea.

The spokesman of the Sudanese armed forces said the military fronts, the army, police, public defense forces are coordinating with one another to protect the Sudanese petroleum.

Lieutenant General Mohammed Othman Yassin said that "assaulting petroleum (pipelines) is a complete assault on the Sudanese people and their future."

He added, "Extracting petroleum was an invitation to all the Sudanese people to contribute to the development project," and that the sabotaging works will make the Sudanese people more persistent.
