Message from Khatami to Saudi crown prince

A Saudi source said that Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz received a message from Iranian President Mohammed Khatami, whose contents were not revealed.

He received the message at his reception yesterday of Sayed Mohammed Abtohi, head of the Iranian presidential bureau, who conveyed the regards and appreciation of the leader of the Iranian revolution, Ayatollah Ali Khameni, Iranian President Mohammed Khatami, and former President Hashemi Rafsanjani, to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and to Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.

The meeting was attended by Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, the advisor in the crown prince's Divan, and Mohammed Reda Fori, the Iranian ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
