Israel appoints six Mossad officers in its embassy in Jordan

The Egyptian newspaper al-Ahram quoted diplomatic sources in Amman as saying today that six new diplomats were attached to the Israeli embassy in Jordan.
Those sources stated that 'most of the new Israeli officers are diplomats who worked in the Mossad, including a former colonel in the Israeli intelligence body, Abraham Aforti, and Colonel Shefarts, both of whom were appointed to attache posts, in addition to the former assistant for head of the research department in the Mossad, an officer with the rank of colonel, Amnoun Shamoueili, and Adnan Karim Abd El-Samad, who is from the Druze faction and was discharged from the military service with the rank of major in the Israeli army, will assume the post of advisor.
Mordechai Filoliz, who assumes the position of first secretary, was a former officer with the rank of major in the Mossad, while Lea Warkhranl, a relative of the wife of Israeli minister Youssi Beilin who is one of the people close to Israeli Premier Ehud Barak, will assume the post of assistant consu.
