Gaddafi in Alexandria to feel assured on Mubarak

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak held discussions yesterday in Alexandria with Libyan leader Colonel Moammar Gaddafi, who paid a short visit to Egypt that took a few hours to feel assured on president Mubarak's safety.

The two leaders' discussions tackled the results of the exceptional African summit recently held in the Libyan city of Syrte and the issues tackled by the African leaders aimed at solving African problems.

The two leaders also dealt with the total situation in the Arab arena and the current problems in the area, as well as rectifying the Arab atmospheres and means of an Arab reunion.

The meeting tackled bilateral relations and discussed means of boosting and developing Libyan - Egyptian relations on different levels, increasing bilateral commercial exchange and activating the existing joint projects between the two states.
