Lebanese resistance escalates operations

On Sunday night a Lebanese resistance group attacked an Israeli position in al-Houleh in the occupied strip of south Lebanon. In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said direct hits were achieved.
On Monday afternoon, the Lebanese resistance attacked pro-Israeli South Lebanon Army militia groups in Hamid and Rashaf positions while they were carrying out fortification work.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces on Monday bombarded al-Zahrani river course, al-Rafe mountain, Aqmata farm and the woods of Sujoud al-Rayhan in al-Tuffah district in the occupied part of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli forces used heavy artillery in their attack.
Earlier in the day, the Israeli forces dropped a balloon over Zeghleh hill in Hasbaya area in the eastern sector of south Lebanon for spying purposes. The balloon was equipped with high-tech electronic equipment and can monitor the movements in the liberated area of south Lebanon.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces announced on Monday the closure of all crossings linking the occupied area to the liberated areas in south Lebanon and the western Bekaa for 24 hours. The Israeli occupation forces did not indicate the reasons behind this measure.
