Rich archaeological treasures unearthed in Sudan

Sudanese Minister of Industry Badr Eddin Mohamed Suleiman has announced that geological survey studies on the northeastern al-Louwa region in the White Nile revealed the existence of very valuable archaeological treasures of gold and ivory.
In a statement he made in Khartoum, the Sudanese minister added that other items unearthed were stone and pottery instruments and tools; skeletons, each of 2-meter length, in Hallat Saad district in the White Nile; and clay tables that date back to al-Louwa Kingdom era.
