Egypt reiterates support for Syrian - Lebanese stance in the peace process

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa stated that his country is ready to play any role it might be asked to play in achieving peace on the Lebanese and Syrian track with Israel.
In answering the journalists' questions he said, "Egypt supports the just stance which Syria expressed regarding the necessity of the full of Israeli withdrawal from the Golan in return for a complete peace."
Moussa added, "This is the frame in which the Israeli - Syrian negotiations will take place till reaching closure of this file in addition to the withdrawal from Lebanon according to resolution 425 and the final status negotiations."
Moussa said, "Resuming the negotiations with Syrian and Lebanon as well as with Palestine removes the whole case to a better circumstance that creates a more proper atmosphere for progress in the different settlement files in the Middle East."
