Israel continues attacking Lebanese areas

The Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday bombarded areas in Barachit. The bombardment resulted in damaging several houses.
Lebanese security sources in south Lebanon said the bombardment coincided with intensive mopping up operations, using heavy artillery from the Israeli occupation position in Tallaet Barachit against the residential areas in the town.
On Tuesday night, the Israeli forces continued their attacks against areas adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon. Israeli warplanes launched three raids against al-Zafaraan, to the west of the Zibqin town, the woods of al-Butoum town, and the area situated between al-Butoum mountain and Zibqin. The Israeli warplanes dropped some 12 air-to-surface missiles against the targeted areas. Meanwhile, the Israeli artillery positioned in Teir Harfa and Yaroun triangle bombarded the areas of Majdal Zoune, Zibqin, Wadi al-Nafha, al-Mansouri, Beyout al-Seyad farm and the neighboring valleys.
One Lebanese citizen was wounded in the raid launched by the Israeli warplanes on Wednesday in the eastern sector of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said that the said citizen is a farmer from the neighboring Labaya village.
In retaliation to the Israeli attacks, the Lebanese resistance launched on Wednesday a series of operations against the Israeli occupation forces and their agents in the occupied part of south Lebanon. In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said a group of its men attacked Israeli moves inside Beit Yahoum, using machine guns and rockets.
Another Lebanese resistance group attacked Barachit position and direct hits were scored.
A third Lebanese resistance group attacked the Israeli al-Jamouseh position, using machine guns and rockets. Another Lebanese resistance group attacked al-Hamid position and scored direct hits.
