Three killed in Algeria in acts of violence

The Armed Islamic Group in Tipaza province, 70 km from the capital, Algiers, has killed three Algerian citizens. The Algerian daily al-Youm said that a bomb implanted in al-Qadereyah district went off as a police patrol passed by.
No human casualties were reported. Meanwhile, the Algerian national defense forces on Monday killed two armed men in Bouira province. The paper added that some 27 members of the redeemed armed group members surrendered to the Algerian authorities, according to the recently issued civil reconciliation law.
