Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Monday received a message from Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz. The message was delivered by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal during his meeting with Mubarak in the presence of his Egyptian counterpart, Amr Moussa.
The Kuwaiti daily al-Rai al-Am quoted well-informed sources in the occupied part of south Lebanon as saying that more than 240 members of the Israeli-allied South Lebanon Army militia had submitted their resignation from the militia, but the "militia leadership refused their collective resignation."
A Kuwaiti official delegation will visit Damascus during October to discuss activating commercial exchange between the two states. The delegation is to include employees of the ministries of trade and industry as well the Kuwaiti trade and industrial chambers under the auspices of the Kuwaiti estates company, which runs the Kuwaiti free zone with Syria.
