Meetings of joint Egyptian - Omani committee conclude

Meetings of the joint Omani - Egyptian committee were held at the headquarters of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry under the chairmanship of Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa and Omani Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Yousef Bin Alawi, who is currently visiting Cairo to attend meetings of the Arab foreign ministers at Arab League headquarters.
At the conclusion of the committee's works, two agreements for tourism cooperation were signed as well as a report on the committee's work.
Moussa expressed his hope that the Arab consultation and coordination that took place during the last two days in the session for the Arab League council is a good sign for the whole Arab situation, describing these meetings as "successful."
Alawi said Egypt and Oman are tied by very deep relations, expressing his appreciation of Egypt as the vertebral column upon which solidarity among the Arab world's countries is based and expressing his country's desire to establish strong economic relations with Egypt.
