Jordanian premier meets with British Parliamentary delegation

Jordanian Prime Minister Abdul al-Raouf al-Rawabdeh on Sunday in Amman reviewed with a British parliamentary delegation led by Phyllis Starkey the Middle East peace process and the role played by the European Union in this respect, the promotion of countries of the region, and bilateral relations between the two countries."
During the meeting, al-Rawabdeh stressed Jordan's backing for the Middle East peace process and giving it a push forward on all tracks to achieve a just and comprehensive peace and for security and prosperity to prevail in the region.
He added, "So far, the peoples of the region have not felt the results of the Middle East peace process." He stressed that such a peace requires the countries of the region and the world, especially the European Union, to carry out their due role in the political and economic fields in order to created confidence in the people that peace means prosperity, security and stability.
