On Jordanian Muslim Brothers
Jordan, Politics, 9/13/1999
The media spokesman for the Muslim Brothers group in Jordan, Jamil Abu Baker, said the four leading members of Hamas against whom warrants of arrest were issued will return to Jordan and that they have the desire and the determination to return, but no date has yet been set for this return.
He added that the turning back in policy pursued by the Jordanian government in this regard increases tension and provokes the feelings of the Muslim Brothers towards escalation through making popular activities to express their stances in opposition to these "Jordanian governmental measures against Hamas."
Abu Baker added, "We are also trying to calm down the bases of the Muslim Brothers, and many other sides proceed towards escalation."
