Iraqi newspaper mocks US congressional aides visiting Baghdad
Iraq-USA, Politics, 9/10/1999
The Iraqi newspaper Babel has expressed its hope that the US congressional delegation who visited Iraq recently will convey what they have seen in the real situation of Iraq to the US people, but at the same time the newspaper mocked the target of the visit, which was finding facts.
The newspaper, managed by Uday Sadam Hussein, the oldest son of Iraqi President Saddam Hussen said yesterday that just hearing the phrase "finding facts" "makes us feel disgusted with the Americans who visited Iraq to find facts after the passage of nine years of living under all means of military invasions that devastated and ruined all details of life in Iraq."
