Tunisian - Syrian merchandizing company

The head of the Syrian Trade Chamber, Raeb El-Selah, and the head of the General Union for Trade and Industry in Safates of Tunis, Mohamed Ben Abd Allah Ali, have endorsed the proposed establishment of a commercial merchandising company, to present services and information to businessmen in the two states.

This was said at the conclusion of a visit by a Tunisian delegation to Damascus.

Sources in the Syrian trade chamber said the two sides have signed a cooperation agreement between the fairs' company in Safatis and the national company for fairs in Syria, aimed at making use of the relations that link Tunis to European and African countries, as well as the fromer Soviet Union.
