Israeli exports to Jordan recede

The Israeli Industrial Union said on Thursday that Israeli exports to Jordan reached US $8.6 million in the first half of this year, decreasing by 36% and in comparison with the same period of 1998.
The union added that so far Israeli companies have invested some US $30 million.
The union added that the Jordanian exports to Israel increased by 25% to reach US $9 million in the first six months of 1999.
Israel exports to Jordan agricultural and foodstuffs products, electronic equipment and minerals.
