Speaker of Moroccan House of Representatives meets Russian, Jordanian peers

Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives, Abdelouahed Radi, met Tuesday in Rabat with visiting Speaker of the Russian Duma Chamber, Selezneov Guenadi and with Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament, Abdelhadi Al-Majali.

Talks covered the project to create a Moroccan-Russian parliamentary friendship group, relations between Morocco and Jordan, latest developments of the Sahara issue,Morocco's contributions to world peace and inter-Arab solidarity.

The Russian and Jordanian officials are among the parliaments Speakers gathering in Morocco to prepare for the International parliaments conference due at the UN headquarters in New York in 2000.
