Egyptian attorney general releases statement on attack against Mubarak

Egyptian Attorney General advisor Maher Abd El-Wahed announced today that Hussien Mohamed Seliman (El-Arabia), who tried to attack president Mubarak in Port Said, was suffering from a psychological and mental disturbance and hostile behavior.

Abd El-Wahed added that the criminal has previously entered the bureau of Port Said governor and insulted him.

Meanwhile, the Egyptian Ministry of Interior began wide investigations in Port Said security department that include 12 officers working in different departments to punish the careless and neglectful whose carelessness led to this incident on last Monday.
