Saudi campaign to maintain work and residency compliance a success

Major General Asaad Abdel-Kariem Frieh, the general manager of the Saudi passport department, said the situations of about 3,539,000 workers to the kingdom have been corrected since the beginning of the national campaign to maintain compliance with work and residency requirement laws.
In press statements today, Frieh said that among those whose situations were corrected, there were about 762,000 persons whose guarantees (ie sponsorship papers) were updated, while about 1,571,000 persons were evacuated and 220,000 persons had been granted regular residence.
