Three police officers investigated for carelessness in assassination attempt against Mubarak

Egyptian Minister of Interior General Habib El-Adli issued a decision to present General Hassan Gabril, the security manager of Port Said, Brigadier Abd Allah Nasr, the manager of the state security investigation of Port Said and Brigadier General Mohammed Salem Shalaam, manager of criminal research, for military investigation for carelessness in protecting Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, where they will be transferred to another site outside the Port Said Security Department.
Two soldiers in charge of guarding the street through which president passed were also interrogated. Port Said has also increased investigations into relatives and friends of the attacker in order to learn the motive that led him to commit his crime.
