Israel continues bombardment of south Lebanon

The Lebanese resistance on Monday night attacked the Sujoud and al-Debsheh positions of the Israeli forces and their militia allies in the central sector of south Lebanon. In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said direct hits were achieved.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Lebanese resistance attacked an Israeli-allied South Lebanon Army militia force passing on the road to the Israeli position in Barachit. In a statement the resistance said its men rocketed an "M.113" vehicle and its occupants were hit.
Later in the day, Israeli forces' artillery positioned in Muheibib shelled al-Zaatar Mount, Rita al-Jabal, Barachit, Hadatha, Kafra, Yater and al-Botoum mountains.
Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes carried out mock raids at low altitude over the south Lebanon and broke the sound barrier over Baalbek.
Moreover, the Israeli artillery positioned in al-Zaffatah on Tuesday bombarded the woods of Sujoud, al-Rayhan, Aqmata farm, and al-Tasse spring course in al-Tuffah district.
News reports from south Lebanon said an Israeli force stormed the occupied town of Ramith and arrested several citizens, including Kozit Elias Ibrahim and George Samir Khayyami and took them to Khiam camp.
Israeli warplanes flew intensively in the airspace of al-Nabatiyah and al-Tuffah district to the capital Beirut, where they broke the sound barrier twice.
Further news reports from south Lebanon said the Israeli warplanes on Tuesday raided the outskirts of al-Hermel district and eastern Lebanon. The reports added that the Israeli warplanes dropped air-to-surface missiles against the target area.
UNIFIL and Lebanese civil defense men were able to put out the fires erupted in the fields and orchards of Eital al-Jabal, Tibnin and Barachit.
