UAE protests Walt Disney exposition

The United Arab Emirates has asked the UNESCO on September 6 to ask the Walt Disney company which organizes an exhibition in Florida to prevent the Israeli stand in which Jerusalem is introduced as the capital of Israel.
The Gulf News Agency said that UAE Minister of Information Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed al-Nahyan was quoted as saying that he discussed on September 6 in Paris with UNESCO's director general Frederico Mayor the moves that UNESCO could make to confront the coming exhibition, which is organized by the company.
Sheikh Abdullah added that UNESCO's director promised to made efforts to put an end to this behavior, and he added that measures will be taken in collaboration with the Arab ministers of culture so Walt Disney company will give up this idea, otherwise it will endanger its interests in the Arab states and the Islamic world.
The agency added that Sheikh Abdullah sent a message to the president of Disney, calling on him to take urgent measures to halt this flagrant act and to remove everything pertaining to Jerusalem from the exhibition.
Meanwhile, US Islamic organizations sent messages to Walt Disney company in which it protested against holding this exhibition, which will be opened on September 30 in Orlando, Florida.
