AL threatens to boycott Disney

The Arab League has informed the Walt Disney company of the opposition of the Arab states to allowing Israel to take part in the fair to be held in Orlando, Florida on September 30, where the Israeli participation in the fair says that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.

The AL assistant secretary general for Palestinian affairs, Saeed Kamal, said that United Arab Emirates Minister of Information Sheikh Abdallah Bin Zayed al-Nahyan sent a protest message to Disney through the Arab League, to inform Disney of the Arab opposition to the fair.

He added that, the head of the AL delegation in Washington is charged to follow up on this in coordination with the UAE embassy in Washington and to inform the AL about any developments, saying that there is coordination between the AL, Morocco and Saudi Arabia, who participate in the fair, to show that Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine.
