Lebanese resistance escalated

The Israeli occupation forces on Monday reinforced their positions in the occupied area of Hasbaya in the eastern sector of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli forces deployed into Hasbaya during the past hours military reinforcements, including Merkava tanks and some 70 soldiers.
Further reports from south Lebanon said the Israeli forces shelled and fired intensively the valleys and hills surrounding its positions in al-Salaa, Barachit, al-Hardoun, al-Radar and al-Qasir in the western sector of south Lebanon.
Lebanese security sources said the Israeli forces on Monday at dawn opened fire on the valleys neighbouring Zibqin and Majdal Zoune in the central sector, and the attacks resulted in material losses.
Meanwhile, one Lebanese resistance group on Monday attacked the Israeli occupation forces and the pro-Israeli South Lebanon Army militia's 80 contingent in al-Jamouseh. In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said it scored direct hits against the Israeli forces.
On Sunday night, the Lebanese resistance attacked the Beaufort position of the Israeli occupation forces and their SLA militia allies.
In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said its forces achieved direct hits against the Israeli and SLA positions.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese resistance carried out a series of operations against the Israeli occupation forces and their allies in the occupied part of south Lebanon.
In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said one of its groups on Monday launched a surprise attack, using machine guns and mortars targeting the occupation positions in al-Salaa, al-Qasir, and Barachit. The resistance achieved direct hits.
Another Lebanese resistance group attacked, using rockets and mortars, the Israeli and SLA positions in Masharoun, Beaufort and al-Hardoun. Direct hits were scored.
