Egyptian president slightly wounded in assassination attempt

The Egyptian TV announced today that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak today was slightly wounded in his hand after being attacked by a man with a knife while passing in the downtown of "Port Saeed " town on the Suez Canal, and that the attacker was killed. Meantime, the Egyptian Middle east news Agency MENA said that this incident took place amid a large welcome by the citizens who crowded to greet President Mubarak and while he was shaking his hand outside the window of his car, greeting the masses, a man stabbed his hand with a knife and resulting in surface wounds, that did not prevent the president from continiuing his tour and delivering a public speech.
