Alexandria cinema festival refuses Palestinian film financed by Israel

The administration of the 15th Alexandria International Cinema Festival, which is to take place on September 15 - 22, excluded the Palestinian film "Segal Ekhtifaa" (Disappearance Record), directed by Ilya Soliman.
The reason for the exclusion is the participation of Israeli parties in the film's financing, which is considered by the festival's administration as cultural normalization, which is opposed by Egyptian and Arab cultural bodies as long as comprehensive peace is not achieved.
Moreover, the festival administration excluded also the Serb film "Barmiel Barood" (Gunpowder Barrel) because it talked about the ethnic conflict in the Balkan region from the Serbian point of view.
