A sneeze rescued him from the grave
Saudi Arabia, Local, 9/6/1999
A Saudi man has come back to life after being in a coma, as he sneezed after he was already put in the grave.
The Saudi daily Okaz said that the Saudi citizen, Jaber Muhammad al-Abdali, a villager from southwestern Saudi Arabia, was suffering from a disease that kept him in bed for one week before he had the coma for a long time. His family thought he died. He was washed and was put in a coffin.
The paper added that the moment preparations were being made to place him in the grave, Jaber made a strong sneeze that terrified the people who were carrying him. Other people who were taking part in the funeral hurried to help him get out of the coffin.
