GCC foreign ministers coordination meeting in Jeddah

The foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council will hold their 72nd session in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia next Friday under the chairmanship of the United Arab Emirates' foreign minister, in the capacity of the UAE as the current chair of the current session of the GCC higher council.

In a statement to the Saudi daily Okaz issued on Sunday, GCC Secretary General Sheikh Jamil al-Hujeilan said the GCC foreign ministers will carry out important consultations pertaining to coordinating stances and exchanging viewpoints towards conditions in the region and current regional and international developments and coordinate the stances of the GCC's six member states before meetings of the AL due to be held in Cairo this month.
