Hizbullah rejects Albright's statements
Lebanon-USA, Politics, 9/6/1999

An official source in the Hizbullah party on Sunday in Beirut criticized statements made by US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright in Beirut on Saturday night.

The source said that while "the innocent Lebanese blood has not dried as a result of the continued Zionist aggression against Lebanon, the US secretary of state has come up with several stances in which she has backed the Israeli conditions and the pains it suffers from the Lebanese national resistance."

The source added, "The US secretary of state claims that calm and self-control gives chances for (peace), as if it is required from the Lebanese people to maintain self-control, not to scream of pains and not to express their rejection of this pain in resistance, so Albright will be able to drag the Arabs from one concession to another."
