Qaboos confers with Mubarak today

Sultan Qaboos Bin Said of Oman is to arrive in Cairo today, on a three-day private visit, during which Sultan Qaboos is to meet with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.
The two leaders are expected to review bilateral relations and the situation in the Gulf and the Middle East, as well as the efforts to achieve Arab reconciliation and to convene an Arab summit.
Khair El-Deen Abd El-Latif, Egypt's ambassador to Oman, said the visit of Sultan Qaboos comes amid the continuous consultations between the two leaders.
