Austria to reopen its embassy in Beirut

The Lebanese Foreign Ministry was informed on Thursday by the Austrian government that it will reopen its embassy in Beirut this month.
Like other European embassies, the Austrian embassy closed down its embassy in Beirut during the civil war in Lebanon.
The new ambassador will arrive to assume his new post of office in the mid of this month, and the Austrian embassy will be ready as from March 2000 to deliver visas to Lebanese citizens to visit Austria.
