Al-Rawabdeh: Syrian-Jordanian relations are at their best

Jordanian Prime Minister Abdul Raouf al-Rawabdeh has stressed Jordan's stand in backing Syria and Jordan in order to restore their occupied territories and complete rights.

In an interview aired by Jordanian television on Thursday, the Jordanian prime minister stressed the need to establish just and comprehensive peace in the region on all tracks.

He described Jordanian-Syrian relations as in their best condition, stressing the importance of developing them in all areas.

He added that Jordan is working to build firm and remarkable relations with other Arab states.

Concerning Iraq, al-Rawabdeh said that it is "ripe time to put an end to the suffering of the Iraqi people and to lift them embargo imposed on it."
