Arafat returns to Alexandria today

Coming from Holland, Palestinian President Yasser Arafat will make his second visit to Egypt within 48 hours, arriving today in the coastal town of Alexandria where Arafat paid a short visit yesterday that lasted for several hours for talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.
The talks between Mubarak and Arafat concentrated on the outstanding points between the Palestinian - Israeli sides in the negotiations, concerning the executive agreement to apply the Wye River accord and reach a final formula on the accord's implementation.
Arafat will be received at the airport by Alexandria governor Mohamed Abd El-Salam Mahgoub, PLO official Mahmoud Abass (Abu Mazen), and Zohdy El-Kadra, Palestine's ambassador in Cairo.
