Damascus accuses Barak of adopting Netanyahu's policy

Syrian newspapers published yesterday accused Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak of adopting the policy and methods of his predecessor Benjamin Netanyahu in destroying the peace process radically. Tishreen said that Barak and his government are pushing toward the same deadlock Netanyahu's government was drawn into, with the difference that Netanyahu was not seeking peace, creating the term "without preconditions," "while Barak informs us daily of his intention to achieve peace with all the Arabs and reviving all tracks."
