Algerian speaker in Jordan

Algerian National Assembly Speaker Abdelkader Bensalah met today in Jordan with King Abdullah II of Jordan and Jordanian Prime Minister Abdul Raouf al-Rawabdeh, Petra reported.

The Algerian speaker conveyed to King Abdullah a message from Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika on bilateral relations and Algerian willingness to improve cooperation.

King Abdullah expressed Jordan's support for Algeria's efforts to resume development.

Al-Rawabdeh said, " At this stage,we,in Jordan, are able to support our Algerian brethren and build with them joint investment ventures which will foster bilateral trade cooperation."

He said that all important issues will be included on the agenda of the upcoming meeting of the Jordanian - Algerian high committee.

Bensalah said, "Algeria will witness drastic changes after the national referendum which will enable Algeria to build distinguished ties with the Kingdom and all the countries of the Arab world," Petra reported.
