Muslim religious scholar in Georgetown university

Georgetown University in Washington, which is considered the oldest Catholic university in the US, has announced it has for the first time appointed a Muslim chaplain for supervising and caring for Muslim students.
The university said that it has appointed Yahya al-Hindi ( Lebanese) to be the guide for Muslim students so as to care about their religious teachings.
In a statement following his appointment in this post Hendi said " Hopefully, my presence will strengthen the exchange of thoughts between the Muslim group at Georgetown University and others."
Worth mentioning that there is a center at the said university specialized in Arab studies and another center called " The Christian-Islamic understanding " center led by Dr. John Isbozeto. The Lebanese daily al-Safir said on Au.25
