Jordanian ambassador in Kuwait submits his credentials

The new Jordanian ambassador in Kuwait, Muhammad al-Qaraan, has submitted his credentials to the emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah.
The official Kuwait news agency, KUNA, said an official reception was held on this occasion. It was attended by high-ranking Kuwaiti officials including Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah
Al-Qaraan is the first Jordanian ambassador in Kuwait since the Gulf crisis, during which the Kuwaiti authorities accused Amman of backing Baghdad.
