Petrol prices up in Morocco

The petrol prices in Morocco went up this September 1 by 4.2% while that of diesel soared by 10.4%.
The Moroccan energy department said the increase is due to upward trend of oil prices in the world market after oil-producing countries decided to reduce the quotas.
The price of oil per barrel has exceeded last month $ 20, a level not reached for two years.
A liter of three-star petrol is hence sold for 7,45 Dh (4.2 %) while the price of premium progressed by 4.5% to 7.75 Dh. The diesel price stands at 4.75 dh moving up by 5.3%.
