Jordan makes changes to government

Jordan's King Abdullah II today announced a limited reshuffle in the Jordanian government headed by Prime Minister Abdul Raouf al-Rawabdeh, Petra reported.
The reshuffle, which was expected, included the appointment of Ayman Majali as deputy prime minister and minister of information, while former minister of information Nasser Lawzi was named as minister of transport.
Jamal Al-Sarayreh was appointed minister of post and telecommunications. Faisal Rafua -- former minister of social development -- was named minister of culture, while Mohammad Jum'a Al Wahsh was appointed as minister of social development. Said Shuqom was named minister of youth and sports.
Al Wahsh and Shugom are new to the government.
