Mousa Marzouq will return to Jordan
Jordan, Politics, 9/1/1999

A well-informed source in Tehran said on Tuesday that Mousa Abu Marzouq, a member of the Hamas movement, was due to leave Tehran on Tuesday for Amman, taking no account of the decision taken by the Jordanian authorities to arrest him together with other three leaders in the Hamas movement in Jordan.

The sources said that the Hamas leaders who were sent notices of suspension are currently in Tehran, except Muhammad Nazal. The source added that those Hamas leaders are expected to meet today the spiritual leader of the Iranian revolution, Ayatollah Ali Khamanei, currently on an inspection visit to Khorasan province, northeast of Tehran.

Ghoushe told the source that he has been in Amman for 25 years in his private office on engineering consultations and during all this time, the Israeli authorities have not asked the Jordanian authorities to arrest him or expel him from Jordan.
