Bouteflika promotes the unity of the nation and civil concord law

King Mohammed VI received on Monday, Sheikh Hamdane Ben Zayed al-Nahyan, foreign minister of the United Arab Emirates, who conveyed a message from UAE President Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan. The press agency of the UAE, WAM, quoted the UAE president's envoy as saying that the message deals with "brotherly relations between the two peoples and latest Arab and international developments." Lebanese President Emile Lahoud on Monday received a member of the US Congress, Marcy Kaptur, currently visiting Lebanon. Regional issues and bilateral relations between Lebanon and the US were reviewed during the meeting. Go

He added, "I said that in Jordan there is no thinking in the tripartite frame of this relation. We rather think in a bilateral frame as a start for consolidation of relations with all Arab brothers." The Algerian news agency, APS, quoted Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir as saying, "Sudan is ready to fully cooperate with President Bouteflika to stop all forms of nuisance against Algeria," in the context of a meeting with Abdelkader Bensalah, the special envoy for Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
