Morocco hosts international colloquy on Arab cities

Morocco plays host next November 24-28 to an international colloquy on planning and development strategies in new Arab cities.
The colloquy, to be attended by a hundred of Arab and foreign experts in town planning, will review latest world town planning trends, development strategies in Arab cities and the exchange of pilot experiences in town management, environment protection and sustained development.
Participants will also discuss Morocco's town planning experience, inter-Arab cooperation prospects in the field, the preservation of the Arab cities architectural identity, the use of local construction materials in housing projects and the importance of involving local communities in housing programs.
